This notice covers the website and its launch signup. Eggward’s game, Game Center, and Apple’s TestFlight service have separate data practices.
The launch-updates form
The launch form sends the email address you enter directly to Sender, our mailing-list provider, for Eggward news from Rotsen Studios. You must click the confirmation link in your email before joining the list. Signing up does not create an Eggward game account or grant beta access.
We use your address and subscription status to manage the launch list and send the updates you requested. Sender also records delivery events, email opens, and link clicks, which help us check delivery and understand engagement with our updates. You can unsubscribe using the link in a marketing email, or contact us to ask for access to or deletion of your information. Unsubscribing stops marketing emails; Sender may retain subscription and suppression records to respect your choice.
Browsing and watching gameplay
The website serves its images, gameplay video with sound, and fonts directly. The video plays when you choose to start it.
The signup form loads content from Sender and uses Google reCAPTCHA for spam protection. These services receive technical information such as your IP address and browser information and may use cookies or browser storage. See Sender’s privacy policy and Google’s privacy policy. We have not added separate advertising analytics or third-party video embeds.
Website analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand which pages people visit, where visits come from, and whether visitors play the gameplay video or open launch signup. It provides aggregated statistics such as page views, browser and device type, and approximate location. Vercel uses a short-lived request hash to distinguish visitors without third-party cookies.
Our custom events contain only the action and, where useful, the button location. We remove query strings and URL fragments from page URLs before sending analytics events. We do not add email addresses or signup-form contents. If the referring page’s URL contains query parameters or a fragment, we skip analytics for that visit to avoid passing those values to the provider. We skip website analytics when your browser signals Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control. Confirmed mailing-list subscriptions are recorded separately by Sender.

If you email us
Your email address, message, and any attachments are shared with Rotsen Studios through Gmail so we can respond and investigate the issue you describe. Please avoid including passwords or unrelated personal information.
You can use the address above to ask about your correspondence or request its deletion.

Links to Apple, music licences, and other external pages open services with their own privacy policies. Feedback sent through TestFlight is also shared with Apple; see TestFlight’s privacy information.

Vercel hosts this website and processes technical information, including IP addresses and request information, to deliver and protect the site. See Vercel’s Privacy Notice for its data practices. This notice covers the website; it is not the privacy policy for the Eggward app.
